I’ve been wanting to photograph this old house for a long while, but had to wait for just the right foggy morning.

Spring seems a long time coming this year. However, this morning with its awakening sun almost felt like the real thing.

One of my favourite times of year and a wonderful Ontario treat… maple syrup time! My father-in-law helped out as we boiled about 80L of sap down to 2.5L of delicious smoky syrup.

I’m still pretty sick of winter, but it does have its moments. After a day of rain which turned my property into ice and mud, the night brought 5cm of snow to cover it all up with.
